UX Design Researcher & Educator

Dept. of Arts & Design at NTHU, Hsinchu City, Taiwan

I am an associate professor in the Dept. of Arts & Design at National Tsing Hua University. My research focuses on human-computer interactions (HCI), especially the design of smart things systems. I have mastered the design thinking process of exploring novelty applications with emerging technologies. I also utilize design languages to create proper sociotechnical solutions that can leverage technologies and social interactions to improve people’s quality of life. In 2006, I co-founded the *International Journal of Design.* Since then, I have continued to serve as the managing editor.
